Helltown Brewing Announces 2021 Beer Release Schedule

Helltown Brewing has officially announced its Release Lineup for the 2021 Calendar Year. Included is an assortment of new to the brand and revived #HelltownBrewing beers from its days in Mt. Pleasant, PA.

New to Helltown’s Year-Round releases for 2021 include its previous Taproom Exclusive Pilsner, and New England IPA Mix 12 Pack.

Pilsner: German-style Pilsner, 5.5% ABV. A pale, light bodied lager, with soft malt profile on the front that has moderate hop bitterness and finishes semi-dry with a distinct lager profile, herbal and woody hop aroma from Styrian Golding and Tettnang hops. Brewed with German pilsner malt and Bavarian yeast. Can be found within Helltown’s Taproom locations and throughout the market in 4×6 Cases, 1/6BBLs, and 1/2BBLs.

New England IPA Mix 12 Pack: Consisting of four (4) Buffy Hazy IPA 6.7% ABV, four (4) Salem New England IPA 6.0% ABV, and new to the Helltown Mix 12 Pack, four (4) Latis New England IPA 4.8% ABV.

Helltown will be releasing at least two seasonal beers per quarter of the 2021 calendar year with the addition of Standard Shaft Cream Ale and the fourth installment of  BLQ METAL in June and July respectively. Making their comebacks to the Helltown portfolio are two old fan favorites including Purgatory DIPA (January), and Wretched Belgian Golden Strong Ale (March).

Purgatory: 8% DIPA, Brewed with Golden Promise and Vienna malts alongside Galaxy, Amarillo and Columbus hops. With medium body and moderate hop bitterness, tropical and citrus aromas with orange, lemon and mango flavors dominate throughout the nose and palate.

Wretched: Belgian Style Strong-Golden Ale 8.5% ABV. Belgian pilsner malt and wheat create a light golden ale that is both effervescent and dry. A unique combination of fruit (pears) on the nose and spice (clove and pepper) in the flavor from the Belgian sourced yeast are complimented by earthy and spicy, noble Saaz hops.

New to the Helltown seasonal portfolio include an American Wheat Ale releasing in May, an Oktoberfest Lager releasing in August, and its 2020 Limited Edition Interdimensional Pterodactyl Triple Hazy IPA releasing in May.

American Wheat Ale: A medium bodied, slightly sweet, light golden ale with clean, citrusy flavors and aromas that do not overwhelm the soft notes throughout the beer.

Oktoberfest: A German Style/Marzen Lager, Deep copper in color, with rich bready aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet and malt forward, balanced with subtle herbal and spice notes from German Noble hops, with a crisp and dry finish.

Stay tuned for Limited Releases and Taproom Exclusive beer releases throughout the year.

It may have a be a taproom beer this summer, but as of now we do not have it scheduled. Currently we have a Belgian Wheat on draft, as well as Hefeweizen in the tanks, along with a Belgian Saison on draft and in cans!
